individual psychotherapy

I offer individual talk psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, as well as child-centered play therapy for children 4 and up.  Dreamwork, active imagination, inner focusing, and sand-tray work can be interwoven into this process, 

couples and family therapy

I work with couples and families to support discernment and a deeper understanding of the patterns that might be impacting the ways of communicating and relating within the family or couple system.  Differences and intersections between developmental stages, family "roles,"  and intergenerational patterns are often the focus.

art therapy

Working with art-making as a therapeutic process can allow a way of knowing to emerge that is not accessible via talking alone.  For interested clients, I offer a space and structure for working with a range of art materials and art therapy processes, with the understanding that art creates awareness, which in turn allows for new ways of healing.

journeywork

For clients interested in developing practical skills that serve to deepen one's relationship with one's heart and the larger ecology of relations, I offer assistance in learning to work with the drum and develop a personal journey practice.  This practice can activate clients' native capacities for visioning, creating, and receiving the benefit of more compassionate, transpersonal perspectives, as well as how to translate those understandings into action in a way that more consciously serves the interconnected web of life.

consultation

I offer consultation to individuals, organizations, and community groups on integrating principles and practices of eco-psychology and creative place-making to support a deepened connection between people and the land/places that hold us.

I am an in-network provider for UPMC Commercial, UPMC for Kids, Highmark, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.  I also accept clients who prefer to pay out of pocket for services. Please contact me for current out of pocket rates.
